I'm glad you like the combination. I'm not sure because i haven't dyno'ed it yet. I love it though. pulls like crazy and a very fun car to drive. Been meaning to get a video. Recent pic before rolling out to a euro meet. The red e30 In the back is "NYBIMMERS" turbo m30 car.

You end up syncing the throttle bodies? I don't know if the M5 ITB setup is similar to motorcycles but it's generally not advised to pull the carbs (or in this case throttle bodies) off the rack since it's a pain in the ass to get them setup right again and it would appear that you did that when you were cleaning them up.

I could be way off base. :)

Thank you everyone. Im glad the build is appreciated and is a source of info for you guys.

I did end up syncing the throttles with the same 4 gauge sync tool I use for my bike.

Big update. I added a 1988 M3 to my collection. Flew out to Minnesota and bought the car from Steve "Blunttech" And did a road trip back to NY with it.

We took the long way up through the Upper peninsula of Michigan. Stopped to see some lighthouses, historical sites and wine tasting. All and all a very beautiful place with great driving roads.

After many hours the faces were cleaned up and looking great. Clear coat removed. Started with 220 grit and worked up to 2000 with a final polish. New bolts, hex caps, center logo caps on the way. Going to be running a 225/45 and 245/45 tire
