At what point of the reassembly are you going to spray the exterior?

Dunno yet... I still have some finishing up to do on the body, first. I may try to get that knocked out this week. I think I'll paint the insides of the doors, hood and trunk, jam in the body and then hang those panels and paint them on the car, all at one time. The bumpers, skirts and misc trim, mirrors, etc, can be painted off the car. I have some more stuff to add to the shell before I tape it up to finish up the bodywork, though. I'll get that stuff done tomorrow...

That's the plan, anyway... always subject to change, lol!

Good deal, and it looks great! Everything from here on out should be easy and shouldn't take long I assume. Must be a good feeling!

Yeah, it took some work, but I'm glad I spent the time doing it. It's almost a shame you won't be able to see much of it, once the interior goes in... good thing I have thousands of pictures, lol!

Well, it helps that it sits in my shop, so any free minutes can be spent doing something to it...;)

i just read this thread start to finish and there is only one thing that disappoints me about this whole thing...

I got to the end of the thread and it's not done yet

Holy shit, you are doing so much awesome work and I, like everyone else, now have a sore chin from it hitting the ground. Can't wait to see more!

Haha, thanks man... at least you picked a good time to read the whole thread, since it is nearing completion, rather than some of the guys who have been following this thing for 2 years, lol! Lots of stuff done to this one and like I said, it's getting closer to being done, so stay tuned... I'm shooting for an end of May deadline, so the push is on!

Here's a couple of pictures from today. I got the harness back in and the brake pedal assembly back in and then taped closed all the windows, the trunk and the passenger door opening. Left the drivers door opening untaped for the time being, but that will get closed up too. Getting ready to finish the little bit of bodywork and then prime and paint the outside...

Out of curiosity, and I apologize if it's been covered already, but how will you be attaching the rear side windows once you begin reassembling?
