yup, took away another 5 degrees of timing near peak torque.

Somehow I knew it would be right back up in no time... Wish I had the free time :(
what does your timing map look like now?
Also I'm thinking of adding this valve for extra security and to really limit boost: http://www.928motorsports.com/parts/...mitervalve.php
I read in a few forum it Looks like its very popular..

yeah with MS its more like a rev limiter bloody nose option lol... better then nothing.
The BLV will limit the boost at what you set and wont move and keep the air circulating like you said a controlled boost leak.
I like the idea since it provides assurance especially with a turbo that can spike. If these could be made cheaper "hint hint" it would sell like crazy lol..Denny

its all a matter of opinion, some prefer clutch, I prefer torsen. Basically you can kick the clutch while going straight and you'll spin tires but you wont go sideways, on a clutch type the rear end is basically always going to kick out in some random direction.

Imo clutch diff's are much more predictable then torsen. Yes it might be better then a worn out stock unit, but comparatively a well built/not worn clutch unit will out perform a torsen, not to mention if you lift one wheel that torsen is now an open diff.

Still looks a bit high for my taste by about 5+ degrees around 100kpa, usually around 27-30 for peak torque thereComment

Like I said its an opinion, park on top of a patch of sand and dump the clutch with both diffs and the clutch type locks real aggressive while torsens take off similar to an open diff in the way that it tracks straight 99.9% of the time and you actually move forward.Imo clutch diff's are much more predictable then torsen. Its not an issue like i was on a worn diff since I've had 5 different diffs since I've owned the car, a torsen diff really doesn't fish tail under hard accell. I'm willing to bet drifters probably hate torsens for that fact.
also since I've done at least 2 snow season on each type of diff I can say a torsen is also MUCH more controlled for snow driving in about 1"-2" of snow, anything more and I just drove a different car.
