Lol you need to tape + terminal to compete in auto-x. They litterally tape it every tech inspection. Ziptied battery also is auto x legal here.
Nice car meet today.
Roll bar is like 42lbs if I remember correctly. I build this car to enjoy, it's my car. So you're dumb for calling it "Fast and Furious" for using carbon fiber to shed weight.

I didn't mean to offend you. I really had no idea you already swapped your trunk lid for a CF one... and I wasn't calling your car "fast and furious" I was simply suggesting that using a CF hood and trunk could help you save on weight; just like everyone used to do to imitate "fast and furious" cars back in the day. I realize now that I probably could have worded it better. That bar tho! Probably the easiest way for you to cut 42lbs! haha
edit: speaking of CF, ever thought of swapping your mirrors for APR CF mirrors? Could save you a couple pounds.
Still ghetto as ghetto gets. With the work you're putting into your car, he probably expects more out of you than a ziptied battery regardless.
Make a bracket or something.
Building polycarb rear spoiler setup, total cost will be under $100. Ignore the nasty picknpull trunk, will be fixed shortly. Still removing weight but waiting to get more gathered before weighing it. [IMG]http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/08/01/39a93
The e36 may have flywheel issues im thinking. If i stomp on the gas or shift sporty the roms will rise around 500 then catch. Previous owner told me they did a brand new clutch so not sure... oh well just another day of work.
