          I know them, I got my seat bracket from them!

          I would think they shouldve moved the motor further back, no?

            Not much. Iv been out of the BMW game for a bit. Just been working a lot and doing some things with my truck. I moved up to WA recently, so most of my time/money has been going into getting us established up here. Trying to figure out how to get a small house for us first time home buyers.
            How ever, I am expecting to get into another BMW soon. But it wont be a fun small one. A bit larger.

            Wow that thing is WAY up there. Holly cow. I just talked to the owner last night, and he said hes having some electrical issues with the swap.
            Planted brackets are the best though.

              Maybe they had issues with shifter placement? ^
              Although I remember seeing a Honda swapped e30 at Catuned and it was farther back.

                How is WA? I assume home buying is way easier than the bay area. I will be checking in on this thread for a new bmw soon :)

                  I would assume shifter placement and they didn't want to create a linkage to move it.
                  AWD > RWD
