Little update here.
I did conversion from bolts to studs and nuts.
Before installation I cleaned threads in bearings from grease and secured them with thread locker.
Also installed rear poly bushings.
Found real Nardi FI350 steering wheel for really cheap price. That guy had no idea what Nardi brand is. He sold it to me for 20 bucks. Bought cheap hub for e30 with nardi bolt pattern and throwed it in to the car. It's little bit smaller in diameter than original 4-spoke bmw wheel, but comfort while driving is much higher because it's thicker and feels better in hands.
Horn is from momo wheel.
And for the end, yesteday I bought new heart.
It's M10B18 with Pierburg carb and 9.5:1 compression ratio. Want to buy catcams sport cam, itbs, do some head work, aftermarket ecu... But first of all I need to do overall inspection of the engine, main bearings wear, cylinder walls... But I hope it will be a monster. :D

Painted front and rear windshield trim black, it wasn't chrome anymore.
Also collected almost all parts for drivetrain refresh. There is a new Ferodo Ceramic unsprung clutch disc with Luk pressure plate and thrust bearing, Swag drive shaft center bearing and Febi seals. Waiting for shift linkage bushings, spacers etc.
And for the end, last night photo from small square in city.

Rear axle out again... Did rear bearings. Never before did worse work than changing rear bearings on an e30.
They started be very loud and in one wheel was little play.
Today I started to tearing down this old 4 banger. Now its ready for hot steam cleaning.
Piano top pistons. 9.5:1 CR stock. With -0.5mm lowered engine block and resurfaced head I hope in 10:1 CR or little bit more.
Hone in cylinder wallls is still pretty good. Engine must have low mileage.
When it will be cleaned, I remove rods and crank, inspect main and rod bearings, eventually buy new STD, install new piston rings and put it together with all new seals. Then head...

This weekend I again did a lot of things on car. There is a new center bearing on driveshaft, exhaust rubber mount, bushings, washers and o-rings on shift linkage (with ebay shortshift), changed all plastic clamps on door trim and painted valvecover black.
Here are some photos.
After one year...
M10 beast :)
All done
And photos from evening drive...

Today I changed master cylinder, but I am not very happy with result. When I press brake pedal, it starts braking immediately, but pedal has long travel from low braking power to maximal power. With old cylinder it brakes well, but sometimes when I step on pedal, it was soft and went to the floor without any braking power. Now it's okay, but I don't like that travel of pedal. Any solutions?

Yesterday I changed all old seals on intake manifold. Engine now run much smoother and has better throttle response. Also painted intake black.
