Not much to report as of late. I got the radio and all the speakers wired up, so now I can enjoy music in my car again. Its nice :)

I also found an uncracked hvac panel. The piece just below the AC button on mine broke off. Minor details...

I was able to find a nice tan leather seat bottom, so i went ahead and replaced it. Was easier than expected, and looks much better.

The tear. Tried using a liquid stitch product, didnt hold and made it look worse really.

Seat back off, brackets that hold it on stayed in one piece (phew)

    old vs new seat bottom

Was pretty much the only imperfection on the front seats, so its nice to have it fixed!

I felt like lightening my wallet a little bit...so I got this.

Pretty much have to use driving gloves now

Finally found a 15" weave to use as a spare. Ill replace the shredded hoosier tire once I have a little more money...

Hopefully next time you see this car, its a little more low ;) brand new bilstein shocks, h&r race springs, and shock mounts are on the way.

Cheapest I could find is about $240, plus the wiring harness so another $35.

Damn nice. Did you have to provide a Vin or anything or did you say I want this shift Knob?

So this was supposed to be a nice update with a lowered car. Unfrotunately, its not.

I got the shocks and shock mounts all in last week. Nice and new

Just waiting on the h&r race springs. They finally came yesterday. Or so I thought.

H&R OE springs. The ad on ebay I bought the springs from listed the model number 50404-88 everywhere in the ad, on paypal, described them as race springs with the race spring drop heights, as well as a picture with red race springs. Im pretty irritated at this point, waiting to hear back from the seller.

I am not a fan of red cars and I don't like tan interior. But I love this car. The only thing that bothered me was the driver's seat glue fix. It was a wart on this beautiful car. I am glad to see you fixed it. Sorry to hear about your springs I hope it works out for you.

Something to be said for keeping them close to stock and cleaning them up. Looks great.

Was that US Bank Mortgage building in the backround for any special reason? Sometimes I like to sneak in things in backgrounds that people usually dont notice. I only ask because I work for US Bancorp Investments and was out in St Paul earlier this year at the corporate building

I would be pretty irritated as well. They where even a different color in the ad. That's just wierd. There is a possibility that the seller sold both these spring you have and the ones you ordered at the same time. Other than that I can't see how they can mass up that bad. But still one of the most beautiful e30 m3 cars I've ever seen. One day I want to see it in person.

Yeah, it's a bummer. I heard back from them, and asked if I wanted to return or exchange. So hopefully I can get the right springs soon.
