The lenght of the engine ,, as center of cylinderbore is the same as M20 and M50
the pistons are 84mm in bore,, but the timing case is bigger etc etc
I think the M70 is a hidden treasure,, in the E30 Swap world,, compact,, not that heavy ((alu block)) ,,but IMO it must be driven on standalone system,, oem electronic on M70 is awful,,

Well small update,,,
2 x 6 cyl coilpack
8.5mm MSD
I have to get a smaller pulley wheel ,, or a bearing
and put another pulley/wheel here were the 8mm bolt is,, to get as much touch/grip on the crankwheel
i had the water pulley remade so i can run 1 belt instead of 2
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
lots of oil lines.....
a) 1 ,,main feed from pump to Accumulator.. pressure
b) 1 from accumulator to mastercylinder feed,, pressure
c) 1 from accumulator to steering box,, feed,, pressure
d) 1 from accumulator to oil carrier,, reverse
e) 1 from mastercylinder to oil carrier .. reverse
f) 1 from oil carrier to pump,, reverse,, big one
g) 1 from oil carrier to steering box,, reverse
got it ???????
all lines are high pressure and covered with stainless steel sleeve
the oil lubrication carrier,, i had to make new lines from flex steel hose,,

i had to modifie the gear stick,, so it would fit correct

Small update....
I finally found a soulution for a single belt drive ,, to get as much grip on the vibration damper
Custom made ,, Guibo end to the gearbox.......... 110mm ((beat that)) made out of solid steel and turned by a lathe
overhauled diff ......... 3.46 LSD
some kind of strenght frame ......... E30 cabrio.......... ONLY i think
clean heatshield
the rarest brakefluid expansion tank ,,EVER in Iceland .. E34 540 touring 6g,, 1@499 worldwide made
Stainless steel rear muffler,,, designed by my idea,, have the dimension as oem 325 muffler,, got it tigwelded ,, and bended hollow stainless plate for pipe through the muffler

Nice work on that muffler! I've never seen anyone do that. What did you fill it with?
Any reason you just didn't go with a dual 2.5 in/out Magnaflow or something? I know you'd have to make your own hangers, but that seems easier then building the muffler from scratch! Either way, impressive work.Comment
