    A few photos:

I decided that while the car is down, I'd replace a few seals. Primarily, the rear windshield seal, and the two rear side window seals. These seals were more plastic than rubber, and at speed, would vibrate make noise. I bought thousands of dollars in seals about two years ago through Blunt, and I'll use a few on this car, even though they were designated for another car. Oh well, Looks like I'll make another order soon for the second 02 project.

    Now for the photos:

The culprit. Notice how shrunken the center seal piece has become over time.

The carnage. Windshield removed and plasticized rubber remains.

Next up is these guys. Haven't quite figure out how to remove the window, but I'm sure a quick 30 second FAQ search will solve this. Driver's side:

Passenger's side. Notice that there is no rubber left:

And a quick search through the new seals pile, I found two of these:

I have everything ready to go. I'll tackle this project next week sometime.
    I might survive this.

I'll do it for you, but only because I like you.

On another note, I am getting a bunch of suspension pieces powdercoated, so that will be nice. I have photos but I'll post them next week or so. This is for the Polaris/Colorado car.

I've been doing some really hard thinking. The kind of thinking that typically keeps you up at night or motivates you to text your ex-girlfriend of 5 years to tell her that you love her, only to regret said text moments later.
Anyways, this thinking will change the entire build of this car, sort of.

My buddy Abdu and Sebo have been filling my brain with thoughts of turbo. Turbo this, turbo that. "Hey look at me and how fast my car is. You're gay because your car isn't turbo'd so we can't hang out with you. Call us when you're ready to stop being a little ween and ready to go turbo."

Well guys, I caved. I wish I could tell you that I am strong-willed and I could repel their advances, but I can't.

It's turbo r&d time. I'm not even sure what that means, or if I'll go through with it, but I figure that if I write it out and post in on this here build thread, then I have to stay true to my word and go through with it.

So yeah, turboing the m10 in the blue 1600 should be fun. I want to try to keep it under the limitations of the current drivetrain (getrag 245 transmission and e21 LSD). After reading various build threads, it sounds like 250hp/tq is the conservative estimate for drivetrain limitations before you start breaking stuff. So maybe shoot for less power? This car is already light. It doesn't require much power to make go fast. My current motor setup is already fast; I can't imagine another 100 hp/tq on top.

Thanks Mark! It's nice having a garage and a warehouse, but it's also bad because the issue of space when contemplating the purchase of another project no longer persuades you against said purchases. So you end up with more cars than you need, but never more than you want.

But in all seriousness, you should sell me your m3 someday. Sterling is my favorite color on e30s.

And No, I don't work at Auto Kennel. I know the owners well, and I know all the guys in that complex as well, but I don't work there. I have done work with all of them, or had them do various jobs for me on various cars, but they remain friends. I was actually at the complex today, helping supervise the full restoration of a 1972 Agave Green 2002tii. It's one of those $100k ground up no expenses spared restorations.

I don't want to let you down. Maybe one day we can ride our turbo cars into the sunset together. I'd like that.

Yeah, everything in life is a tradeoff! Sounds like you have are balancing the two sides of this dilemma well though. Thank you for the kind words about my car. I have always wanted a 2002 - maybe I can buy one of yours when you get bored ;)

This isn't a negotiation! You sell me your m3 and I'll sell you one of my 02s. I'll even let you pick which one.

Ryan, good luck on the turbo front. Should be neat to watch (and ride along)!
