          New headlights going on

I had to move radiator downward by the amount of the lift because engine ( which has VC fan) is bolted on the frame and radiator is bolted up to chassis

Time to start making more clearance for the winch

          and replace the axle seal

Started making clearance for the winch

Axles are ready, except the brake calipers are stuck and they didnt get any better by moving pistons back and forth.. so I need to buy new calipers, they are cheaper than rebuilding these..

I'm trying to solve the oil pan leak... the thread has cut on it and the sealing surface has also a edge like it's from the factory..

Interested to see if this will go somewhere. I've seen the idea being tossed around the internet. That setup would need custom cams and custom timing gear. I'm betting that that Ford v8 isn't cross plane crank but a 90 degree thing?
I'm just guessing, but by the time that engine would be ready to run, you'd have spent enough for an S14 head.
That said, the same money would build a very big displacement M10 with a very special head :)

                            That's Motorsport ;)

My motto is: Do things little different than others.

S14 heads are rare and putting s14 head on m10 block has been done dozens of times. I just want to use my imagination. M10 block = thick walls, great for boost. M10 head = not that great head.

No it probably won't flow 300 hps worth of air, but bear in mind what it is: A very simple, reliable lightweight SOHC head. Compared to others in that category, it's not half bad.
But like I said, I'll be interested to see if this becomes something.

"S14 parts rare".. you can still buy S14 parts from the dealership. Not even that expensive when you compare it to a used parts that you'll be having machined etc.

By the way, I can totally dig your idea of a 4 cylinder iX. I believe you are or were considering something in that order?

but still the main point with the s14 is that it has been done..
