how far is your exhaust from the ground? is that the low point of your car?

I measured tonight and the oil pan is 3" from the ground. I like where the car sits right now allot. probably gonna keep it like that or maybe jack it up 0.5"

working on the pedal box i make a cut in the firewall to get access to the cylinders. when everything is fitted up good I will make a panel with holes for the cylinders lines and rivet it over that hole. ive got the banjo fittings and all that tighted up and bolted the pedal box up for good hopefully.

because of the curvature of the back seat area I brace this corner up

I would have preferred to offset it to the passenger side of the car but its pretty central as it is right now so no worries

front studs and rotors and calipers are mounted up. the front wheels wont fit, the calipers get in the way but that is fine because wheel spacers will fix that issue and the wheels where pretty deep into the fender anyways so spacers will be nice to have them closer to the edge of the fender.

Thanks! little bit of challenge routing them to keep away from the exhaust but then crossover into the inside. hopefully they don't interfere with the control arm.

                        projects remaining:
-bleed brakes, run clutch line and bleed that.
-wire up ford wiring harness to battery and bmw ignition
                        -test start
                        -gauges and gauge panel
-install lights and front bumper and trim pieces
-wire up gauges and lighting to universal wiring harness
-double check stuff and see about driving it

so I had a stupid leak emerge that was my fault from when I was adjusting those 90deg. bends from the masters and a couple other leaks too, I done brake work before but I needed to crank the fittings down some more which surprised me because I usually have a tendency to over torque rather than under. so I had to take apart the panel and the resiviors to fix that leak but I got it sorted and bled the brakes and they feel real good.

aside from that I moved some things around the shop and installed the lights and some of the trim on the car. then I layed out the wiring harness in preparation for getting that all sorted

Not your typical e30 build but I respect the work that's going into it. i'm sure the car will be all sorts of crazy/fun when finished.

^ is it just me or is wiring the worst thing to be doing?

lowest point of the exhaust is the vband. I can move it further up the pipe for like a 4.5'' but it's fine doesn't scrape.
                              oil pan was 6''.
