As for the phone, I have no idea. I think it might be hallucination as Rick is going pretty crazy at this point. I guess we will just have to wait until next week to see.

She is most certainly dead and I think that walker ate her. When Rick is surveying the maintenance room there are two pools of blood. The large one where Maggie did the c-section and a smaller one where Rick finds the bullet. The second blood spot with the bullet is to show you that Carl did in fact shoot her in the head. Lori is dead, her last scene was pretty damn dramatic already. I think maybe they thought explicitly showing a young boy shoot his mother in the head might be a little too far for TV. The scene with Rick in the maintanence room was to provide confirmation of her death. I am about as sure of this as I have been about anything in this show.

Carol on the other hand, not sure. And the preview for next week definitely made you wonder.

Carol is likely to return to the show in some way but there is no way Lori returns. I agree that it is pretty improbable that one walker could eat an entire corpse, but it is FAR more improbable that carol would be able to patch her up. Especially since Carl DID shoot her in the head. If Lori comes back I will stop watching the show, it would be the stupidest thing in the history of TV.

Looks like I get to keep watching the show!

I am going to apologize now for the following e-gloating. It's not really my style, but I feel like in this case I just have to. Especially with how adamant some of you were that I was dead wrong and had no idea how the show works.

DAMN! Did I nail that or what?! That episode was pretty gratifying to watch as it pretty much systematically confirmed everything I said last week. I will admit they had me going with the phone until they said ricks name.

Again sorry for the e-gloat. Back on topic I thought that was a great episode. Aside from tying up loose ends from the previous episodes they really set it up for some shit to go down. I can't wait for next week!
