borderline too much, but that is just my taste. i generally add vignetting for portraits to the point just before you can notice it, unless i'm going for a special effect.

Whoever was asking about graphics and printing bcards, go download inkscape - it's the mainstream freeware alternative to Illustrator/Corel. The primary file types are SVG, but it will output most file types, enough to do anything you may need to.

Think of it as the vector graphics editor that should be packaged with OpenOffice.org's release and Gimp. ...I seriously do not understand why someone would pay for MS Office when OpenOffice is pretty much the exact same thing, but GNU (free.)

but on the other hand, Inkscape has better effects than Corel, but nothing can touch the power behind Illustrator's transforming effect for having a streamlined output file. ...and Corel, though it's graphics engine is weaker than Illustrator, Corel is still the resort for super large format work at full scale. So in short, it's a good alternative if you don't want to pay for anything monetarily or compromises in legality.
