I about wrecked the neon last night. I was going back home from class and going down main street. After 9pm, the lights for downtown flash yellow on main and flash red on the crossing streets. I was just cruising, minding my own business and see a car cross. Then, as I'm about to hit the intersection, this stupid old bitch in a van runs the red. Had I not slammed on my brakes in time, my front end would have been gone. How the fuck do people think it's okay to run that shit???

I had some chick pull out in front of me making a left hand turn with out even looking or stopping. I was doing 60 mph in my friends vert and no i wasnt wearing a seatbelt. Had i not swerved into on coming traffic and down shift to floor it passed her. I would not be typing this right now. People are just dumb and I personally think we need stricter regulations for getting a license. Should have to drive 20 hours in every weather condition and have a specific test for driving on the freeway and once you hit a certain age you should have to test every other year to drive the free way or drive at all. I swear i attract idiotic drivers and all my friends agree lol.

So the ex has been jerking me around still. Playing with my feelings and being super wishy washy. Well if you remember, I had begun saving up money for a down payment on an apartment for us. Today I decided she can go fuck herself sideways, and have spent a good chunk of that on rebuilding my PC. I almost bought everything yesterday, but decided to wait until today, because it's payday. Good thing I did because the Mobo went $20 off this morning. Still got about $200-$250 worth of stuff I need to get for the rebuild but I'm still undecided on what I want to get.



Also, now talking to a girl I had a thing with in high school who currently lives in Illinois. We've talked and she told me she wants to move here to the area to go to school, and wants to rekindle things between us. She is really cool and a great girl. But nothing will likely come of it until at least the summer time. Thinking I might just continue working to save up money, and just smash random hook ups for the time being. Would be good for the wallet, and would most likely help me feel better about the bs with my ex.

This should be the goal until you hit your mid-late 20s and if in that "research phase" should you happen to find one that you enjoy being with... well then you are becoming an adult

You're right. I just felt like this one was the real thing, until she went all wishy washy awhile back. I guess some of them are able to delay showing how crazy they are for awhile, so you start to think they're normal and one that you could settle down with and then Boom! Like being blindsided by a truck, they go crazy.

AVG crazy takes ~6 months to show up. In that time frame, focus on having fun and even if you're madly in love with them I would hold back telling them

I agree with 2man. I was in a relationship from 19-24. In retrospect, I wish I ended it way earlier.

By the time that relationship ended, I was a completely different person than who I was when it began. You will change a lot in your 20s, probably to the point of what you find attractive in a person completely changing.

That's why you dont see a lot of relationships that start in the teens and early 20s lasting.

Use those years to have fun and learn about yourself.
