my point about outwardly vs inwardly kind of echoes your stance. I am an athiest, but unlike alot of atheist I see a valid use for religion. Some people need it, and that is ok with me. My problem is with people that are holier than thou and god this and god that, but are ruthless in life and business and not caring about their actions.

It is funny how I am perceived as being without morals because I am without god, but the reality is I have higher morals than most religous people.

im not sure where you two are traveling, but my experiences don't echo yours.

Looks like you need to open up your eyes, dude. You have daily exemples of peoples using religious excuses to rationalize their "evil" acts. And none of the three main religions are exempt.

Sure not. I am atheist. I lived in many countries around the world and got exposed to all sorts of religions and have lots of Jewish, Muslim and Christian friends. None are the extremists that make all that shit. Look for evil, and you'll find religion. Remove religion from fanatics, and they become good men. People who need religious guidelines to make up their own ideas are just clueless to me.
