the whole thing is so polarized, are you that surprised? The entire right and left sides are shifted so far to their respective sides, the tea party isn't that far from the core of the republican party.

as vedubin said, yeah I'm in the minority. Up in the PNW, I'm trapped between pruis-owning, tree hugging ecoterrorists, and raving lunatic bible thumping tea baggers. there's no middle ground.

I dont hate Obama and I didn't hate Bush, both are and were yes men to there campaign donors just like the last 5 presidents. The problems I have with Obama was his not so genius now campaign. He promised Everything and hasn't delivered on anything but a modified version of Romney Care. The bail out deal is a crap, congress was going to pass it regardless who is in power, its not
Like my voice counts for anything. It was going to happen. Politics right now is just a war of empty words. Nothing has changed or gotten better in 5 years and policy wise it hasn't changed in 10. Left and right are basically fighting for idiots are willing to listen and believe.

nando, i will give you the benefit of the doubt for living in b'ham and thinking this way

the tea party is anything BUT the fringe
its ordinary people who have never been active in politics that have awakened to what the usa has become over the last 70+ years, some quasi socialist country where 50% of the people pay no taxes and suck at the tit of government

and guess what? they're pretty much pissed about the state of affairs and with obama in particular, and not because he's a halfrican

its telling that the democrat machine is demeaning the tea party every fucking day, painting them as extreme, when they are truer to the ideals of why this country was established than either dem's or repub's.

the democrat machine is scared to the bone of the tea party and what it represents, which i think ronald reagan described as the silent majority

there is another "wave" election coming in 2012 and the dems are scared shitless, and with good reason cause the way things look today the messiah and his minions will be gone for a long long time from power.

the messiah is in deep shit because he's a left wing lunatic

Location says madison WI really is little more than a NW suburb of Chicago and home to the University of WI. Need we connect the dots any further...................

Also the IIRC the term F.I.B. according to urban legend originated in the Madison area

Are you referring to the party school ranking? What are you getting at, or is it the BCS?????

Its a liberal school that has a history of burring shit down blowing shit up in the late 60's and more recently the violent protesters in the capital pissed off about a freeze on collective bargaining for govt employees, many were from UofW. Yeah not a far left wing liberal school at all is it. But thats ok most of colleges are this way now. Still seems to have a good football program though and sure you can get a great eduction from anywhere if you can weed you way thought the propaganda and political BS that comes with it anymore.

Your city politics are full of progressives and far left dems and have been for many years 1 four time mayor was arrested in the riots, and actual Progressive party member was elected to that office. Not to mention the home of "Freedom form religion collation" or some shit like that. Your views fall right in line with those of main stream Madison, its ok, I understand, I grew up in MI not too far from MSU and UofM, it took me a little while to shed the views instilled upon me by my peers, but I was in HS still when I did that. Shall I continue to connect the dots for you???

edit: Thank you for jumping right in there and proving my point for me????

I went to Michigan Tech and don't recall politics ever being brought up by peers or professors. I guess we were too busy freezing our ass off and drinking beer.

Lol tech is good school but its not a liberal arts college its a technical school, I nearly went there for their mining engineering program years ago, it was that Kettering, or Hillsdale but I could not afford any of them so I went off into the work force instead.
