The people that are still protesting are the unemployed that feed off the system. They like socialism and support the IDEAS of the Government taking care of them. Or they'd all be looking for work *full time* till they found it.

Who gave Whirlpool 19 million dollars? You're not going to protest Wall Street and get any change whatsoever. Because the real problem is Obama like politicians. Which is the vast majority of them. Lobbyist money holes.
Corporations are doing what they do best, making money where ever it might come from. Including from Government. WIN WIN for them because politicians just hand them money hand over fist. And also have been producing legislation that cuts American jobs.
The Government should not be investing in venture capitol *at all*. If a large company fails, you let them fail. Message sent to the rest of them.

Yes I have a huge issue giving CEOs millions upon millions of dollars per year. While a large part of those types of companies give squat to a chunk of their employees.

Wall Street can not change politics (other than lobbying) but politics can change Wall Street. You can't keep wrong targeting the real problem and expect someone to give a fuck. Obama's over in the corner laughing at all of the protesters while he keeps taking donations from guess where..WALL STREET.

As much as a few people seem obsessed with OWS and think it's a revolution, not much can be accomplished by disorganized people who just want to whine and demand handouts. Especially when they are ironically unfriendly to homeless people who are mooching off them. Plus as Sleeve posted, the frost will show that these people probably won't be that dedicated. It'll eventually be a memory and a punchline.

I'm not ignoring any issues here. But simply dismissing the protestors as socialists looking for handouts accounts for only the fringe noisemakers of the lot. Akin to dismissing the tea party as merely a group of racists just looking for reasons to hate on the president. There are several reasons the OWS has a solid base and is gaining ground in several cities, and a primary one is exactly laid out in that ED link. Real fucking issues, not crybabies looking for handouts. If you just just watched the first 1/4 then closed it then you missed the good stuff.
You can't even blame this on a single president's policies, the cause and effect that's going on here is very long-term and mostly has nothing to do with any of the past presidents at all.
One thing I am CERTAIN of is that trickle-down economic theory has proven to be complete bullshit, in fact totally detrimental to long term health of economy. They take the money and run.
