Haven't heard of that before. I don't think Americans have beef, or quite frankly, care about Canadians that much.
After a quick search, it seems like the opposite is true, american plated cars are being vandalized in Canada. Which makes more sense, since Canadian's are obsessed with american politics.

all i can say is i will never drive over the border ever again, and definitely won't take the e30. there have been multiple reports of cars being vandalized up to the point of total loss when wearing canadian plates.depends on your perspective. Somethings are going well, others not so much, and well as of writing this I am only down 4% in the brokerage, and I must say I am glad to see some light being shown on the corruption and frauds at the hands of those we have collectively entrusted to lead us for decades......... But you mileage and view point may vary.
it really pisses me off, as doing a driving tour and attending one or two of the bigger bmw meets in the e30 has always been a bucket list item. it'll never occur now.Leave a comment:

So good, I'm glad trump has done nothing for us and everything for Israel...
Been pretty assed out since he took office....
Given our options, still going to assume that this is much better than Kamala, since she's actually retarded.
Either way, it's israel first and fuck american's, as per usual. What's new?

FAIR TAX legislation introduced the other day!!!!!!!
Not that I have any illusion it will actually get a POTUS signature as there is snowballs chance in hell of getting 60 votes in the senate to get past the filibuster. No way the legacy congress critters are going to give up their control of the populace and lose the IRS. No way they are going to give up the 70k pages of tax code that all the special interests have carve outs, and no way will that much power be restored to the people. No way will that much transparency over how and where our tax's are generated from and how they are allocated be tolerated by the power structure in DC.
But one can hope ehh.Leave a comment:

I generally despise Trump but I was beyond sick of the chaos surrounding illegal immigration so I am overjoyed something is finally being done about it. I don't think there is any other way to solve this essentially world-wide issue than a drastic and uncompromised enforcement of our border, and to ultimately fight hard against the cartels. The bleeding heart Dems simply don't have the balls to do that.Leave a comment:

I prefer to call him Netanyoohoo but I’m not on first name bases with him…
My favorite is Fedderman who wears a hoodie and shorts to Trumps inauguration but dons a suit when Yoo-hoo shows up

Good thing congress is full of politicians who are on their hands and knees, ready to suck that dick and send some missiles over right away, followed by a standing ovation to Ben.

Well, it's not really up to our president. Ben already said he will continue, on his own accord if they don't get what they (jews) want, despite Israel continuing attacks after the "ceasefire" began.
Trump is more so echoing what Ben said than giving his blessing.
Israel own us (US) anyways so it's not like they need our permission to blow kids up still.
Any president of the US is an Israeli shill.Leave a comment:

Trump wants to renegotiate the bad deal that he said was a great deal back in 2018.

Well I'm hoping this shit is over with, but my confidence isn't high because it's 'only a 30 day extension'.
I think he's going to realize that he's pissed off a lot of people up here in exchange for whatever he gained by doing this, and they're not going to magically get un-pissed off.
I imagine american liquor will be back on shelves, but I think everyone up here was suddenly shocked into caring where their food/drink comes from and are going to at least experiment with non-american brands for foodstuffs. Some of the free trade agreements that were hastily signed between Canada and Mexico, Ecuador, and whoever else are going to take a bite out of that market at least. People/businesses who hastily changed their workflows or BOMs to avoid tariffed american products aren't going to be in a rush to change them back just for a 30 day extension.
I don't know that there was anything necessarily nefarious with this. I've seen people say he did this to crash markets to buy the dip, or to cause chaos to draw attention away from musk or other fuckery, but who knows.Leave a comment:

in canada, we are seeing a drop in out of country temp farm workers. some are simply staying away out of fear even though it makes no sense as it's a different country. others aren't showing because of bad working conditions and reputation of exploitation. lots of employers take advantage over the workers not being able to get back to mexico easily if things are bad, we are a lot further away.Your right fruits and vegies are definitely manual, and there is a long long history of lots of migratory farm workers coming in every season with a farm /employer sponsored worker program with the H2-A visa program. I agree some areas/farms might see a labor shortage and that might cause some price fluctuation, but give the ease with which it is for those workers to get an H2-A visa it might be minimal
