Of course you think it is, it confirms what you already wanted to believe.

I just wonder what you would say if Obama (or anyone else but King Trump) had sent goons in unmarked vans to whisk away right wing protesters. I seem to remember many wacko conspiracy theories how Obama was going to show up and "take away all your gunz!"

You mean, he tells the truth and I like hearing the truth. Yes, it confirms my understanding of the truth. If right wing protesters are opening fire on other citizens, tagging local businesses, setting up roadblocks and otherwise being unruly and unlawful, I would support any president coming in and putting that down.

The left does want to take away our guns, like veritably. If they try to do it, there will be hell to pay.

So, are you saying what this officer said is some right wing propaganda, or maybe it's just untrue?

What do you have to say about that interview? Are you currently in Portland experiencing this first hand and can say otherwise?

You guys were saying the same things about CHOP CHAZ, I went there the morning it was dismantled and it was a shit hole.

I bet Portland is going to be the same, I land there next Friday and I bet it's not going to be a pretty sight, just like CHOP. Then, all the keyboard warriors will not even acknowledge my experience.

Your experience is irrelevant because it is not in line with what NANDO wants to hear. That's how this works. Thus, the left can deem reasonable people religious heretics and eventually, we will be burned at the stake. We all must bow to their ideology or else!!!

This may surprise you, but I don't like *any* big cities. To be honest, they always seem like a shithole to me even on a good day. So probably my opinion isn't the best on that.

I followed a couple tractors to the grocery store the other day. that's much more my speed. ;)

I don't think you would know a fascist if Adolf Hitler was sitting on your face. The very reason the insurrection act is being utilized is because the fascists you support are violating other citizens' constitutional rights. Protesting along with violence, vandalism and lawlessness is not protected by the first amendment. Duh.
              you idiot

why would i be an activist if i only gave a shit about myself?

would i have stood down these same unidentified shock troops at standing rock, and fought cops at protests here in california, if i were truly acting solely out of self-interest?

and since you're quoting the constitution at me, you know our country *began* with a riot, right?

Lets do some more math! +79+90+7 = 176 deaths. Based on these figures the united states doesn't have a domestic terrorist problem.

If you play stupid games, you get stupid prizes. Not listening to law enforcement who is actively clearing out an area will mean you get hurt. For the love of god use some common fucking sense. "Peaceful protesters" don't throw bottles of frozen water at officers when attempting to clear an area 15 minutes in advance of a curfew. https://wtop.com/dc/2020/06/some-cla...stions-remain/
Fully disputed: how are we defining the word "terrorism" in these studies and in government language and let's please look at the very important 4.5 years since 2016. The United States has a fully-fledged domestic Terrorism problem. Don't put your head in the sand. With the occurrence of the 2019 El Paso shooting, right-wing terrorism has been responsible for more killings on US soil than Jihadi terrorists since 9/11. And we've had a lot more since El Paso.

                  Wake the fuck up.

true story. i saw a new maxima pull up hard on some guy riding a bike 3 guys jumped out and put him on the ground.
2 more cars pull up with dudes come out and search that guys stuff. i was across the street heard the whole thing.

the scumbag was breaking into cars and even stole the bike he was on and those guys where cops.
they were dressed normally probably if they were patrolling in cop cars in uniforms they would of spooked off the trash and never been caught.

Sure, if you take down a scumbag like that - great. But that's a little different than demonstrators excersizing their 1th amendment rights, while also violating their 4th amendment rights. Also, I highly doubt those were ICE agents..

You're right to protest is not absolute... I've already said that.

You cannot protest whenever you want. If there is a curfew in place, you cannot "protest" and your rights are not being infringed.... You're basing your sentiment on something that's not even true.

These curfews are put into place because of the violence that takes place, that is undeniable. Peaceful or not, you will subject yourself to the law if you're out past curfew.

Cops are being attacked by some of these "protesters," then they have to resort to curfews and more aggressive control then these pussies cry like babies when they get swooped up by guys clearly marked POLICE.

Yeah, you're some wannabe SJW "revolutionary" that incites the idea that he is some armed and ready militia guy that's ready to fight the neo revolution here in america, but the reality is you're a just a tool for the media. Have fun wearing black boots and sitting next to gun parts telling people you're a tough guy.

                            it's really funny.

You say you do this out of selflessness, but seeing your posts over the years, you an activist for whatever the TV tells you to care about, then when someone calls you out on something you start spouting off about how you were in the military and they're stupid or something equivalently thin and sometimes, if we're lucky you post a picture of yourself doing said work. You discredit people because they haven't served like it's impossible to form any real opinion on anything as a civilian. So cringey.

You def do this out of self interest. I know this because you probably wear all these things you've done on your jacket. Bet when you go to a bar you cant shut up about it. "when i stook down these same blah blah standing rock, blah blah protests in California, me me me me..

                            Sad (trump voice)

The issue always seems to be that legal limitations curtailing the right to protest are often put in place for less than perfectly genuine reasons, or out of "an abundance of caution." IMO, allow people to protest, monitor the activity passively, without a show of force that often agitates people, and is often seems to be in place to discourage protest, engage those who are getting out of hand, or even better still, work with the organizers of said protest to root out the problematic element so that they may exercise their rights both freely and safely. Basically, treat citizens as intelligent, able, valuable people, and they are more likely to remain peaceful and cooperate.

It's the old one student was bad so we all lose recess rationale, and it's a very slippery slope that most of us cannot support, so I'd really like to see some innovation in handling the issue rather than just taking the easy path of shutting it down.

The problem with your statement is, there is no curfew in Portland, and none of these goons were police officers or marked as such. So, absolutely, the protesters have every right to be there. But I'm glad you support Trump/ICE acting like the despots they wish they could be. Maybe next time they'll run over some protesters with a tank, that'll show them who's boss! ;)

You think people are pissed now, wait until Trump tries to stay in power even after he's crushed in landslide.
