      Nah man, i think whats going on here is that you have pissed off people that know what they are talking about by talking out of your ass. More to the point, its the fact that you don't know enough to know that you're talking out of your ass.

          To this idea... I'm not super experienced but I've seen at least 2 S52/M52's give up the ghost after a slight over-rev (aggressive downshift) They don't do it right away but later on down the road. We used to call them "dinged" engines. Their bell had been rung. Just a matter of time before they let go after that.

          I can totally see how taking it to 7000-7200rpm on a regular basis would do the same thing.

            exact IDEA;

            I wanted to express that for long term running a deviation from STOCK 6,000 is a bad idea.

            Buncha r3vtards who cannot read well jump in and start blaming other things.

            50 hours is a decently long time and 1,000 more rpm than stock on stock parts is not good for durability.

            what kind of ass smoke is this? actual facts?

                        Your approach and attitude is fucking annoying, go to Bimmerforums or something no one cares about your junkyard 24v POS.

                          You obviously care; enough to insult a lemons car by calling it a junkyard pos.

                          I don't think anyone actually racing lemons feels the slight bit offended.

                          I'm glad you are offended as an admitted r3vtard.

                            Then why are you so upset over your lemon of a racecar? I read your thread and it was pretty much a junkyard engine...why are you so mad? If anyone here sounds offended over the engine it is you. I pulled this off the site of Lemons racing...

                            "Endurance racing for $500 cars. It's not just an oxymoron; it's a breeding ground for morons."

                            Junkyard cars are 500.00 and you must race there a lot!

                              My question is why are you even bringing it up on r3v OP? This place is clearly below your pay grade as you've stated. So why are you here? Old man trolling? You can't be that old, you haven't mastered the art yet.
                              So what's the real reason? Sure your used 24v motor blew in your lemons car. That makes you absolutely no different from the teenagers here who swapped a used 24v motor into their high school haulers. Maybe you should get more serious about lemons? Racing is racing, it costs money to play. Just because some of us don't partake doesn't mean we don't know what we are talking about. It just means we have other passions and drivers. Complaining about grenading a motor in an endurance track car is dumb. No shit your used motor blew up dummy. What did you expect. Build one, take care and it won't grenade as quickly? My advice, but then again what do I know, I don't race lemons.
                              I am, sure that I could if I cared to work on a shitty nerd car every weekend with my friends, but I choose to drink beer and work on different shitty nerd cars with my friends. But I guess that's below your pay grade, so you wouldn't get it.
                              EDIT
                              And btw, PB is a saint, don't be nasty. If you have 2 hours to spare maybe a phone call would help you out. You are clearly at his level though, I mean you build race cars, he builds race motors... It's the same.
