      FINALLY!!

They're here. I held out for the TR wheels, and I'm really glad I did. Will post pics tomorrow, but for all of you who dig the looks, you'll like them even better on a car. Frickin SWEET!! Took only 3oz max of lead with RT-615s, and they feel dead smooth at over a buck. Tires are 205/50-15s, and do look a bit balooney on the 8" wheel, but the sidewall seems to respond well to it. Kinda disappointed in the lack of on-center feel, but I guess that's the zero-toe with good tires for the first time. This machine sticks.

Nice, can't wait to see pics. I am ordering one 15x8 to test fit with 225/50 v710 first. How come you didn't go with a 225 wide tire for an 8?

AFAIK, Azenis only come in 205's for a 15". And there's not too many tires in the 225 size in that price range that will outperform a 205 Azenis...

              Exactly.

I'm going to be going through a gaggle of tires, so I figure it's best to stay cheap. I've tracked the 615s before (different car/size), and they hold up pretty well and offer pretty good grip. R-comps are in the future, but not in the budget yet, and THOSE will be 225s. The Falkens have a really robust rim protector bead that comes within 1/4" of the strut tube. Coilovers are a must. The rear bead also gets a little close to the trailing arm seam, but it would be really easy to trim it a bit if needed: I'm not concerned about it, and an aggressive test drive showed no signs of rubbing. Overall, the fit is spot on. Someone did their homework!

I know, the body's a bit rough and the paint is for shit, but this is my track toy. The seat covers came with the car and are actually nicer than the leather, though quite atrocious. But hey, they were free. The center caps are on the way; they weren't ready when the wheels shipped.

So these are direct purchase through Tire rack? Or is there a vendor on here selling them? Looks good man! Anxious to see a cirrus blue e30 to rock those.

Well I'm the one who worked to get these done....rather I bugged TR for ever and ever to do them and they did but my wholesale price on them vs retail leaves me about enough margin to break even so sucks for me. Buy them direct from TR.

                      Cheers.

Very nice, I like them a lot. They look kinda mean on an E30, even in 15" diameter which is nice. Could you do me a favor...inspect the front wheel and let me know how much clearance there is from the wheel to the caliper. Heck maybe even a nice close up pic of the front wheel like that last pic in your bunch there. One of the things I was pushing for in the design of this wheel was room for bigger brakes so I'm curious. I've not bought any yet, my car is still at the fabricator getting the cage done. And I'm still not absolutely certain I'm staying with 15's now so..

                          Thanks man! Cheers.
