As an update on the hike and the other drive, the hike is proposed for March 8th, and the "milky way" drive is proposed for March 22nd. Keep those Sundays open and save some gas money for them!

hey guys who have done the wiring on the 2.7i swap themselves, Ive got a few questions posted in the M20 forum. Id appreciate your input

There's different wiring involved with a 2.7i? I thought it was more or less plug-and-play with applicable DME/chip combo?

Not exactly, but kinda haha. Depends how you do it. If you are swapping the components on an eta, theres things that can cause problems, especially if you are trying to do it on the cheap. I got most of it figured out. Problem areas are the c104, different sensor plugs, and a few other little things.

Nothing crazy, but Im helping a friend finish the swap and its annoying picking it up halfway through because I didnt take it apart and Im trying to figure out how to put it back together

That happened to me a few months back. It was a bad wiper switch making intermittent contact.
