Alex, I just got a set of h&r sports for stupidly cheap ($75) that I want to swap in. I'm actually considering getting all the other bits you are talking about as well. From my experience with e30 tie rods and sway links, and inspection of the front suspension, it will take at max a couple hours to do everything up front. Replacing everything at the rear, including rtabs, will be a pain.
We should have a suspension party.Comment

F1 live streaming. This weekend is the Melbourne (Australia) GP, and Practice 3 just ended. Qualifying should start at midnight, and I'm hoping it's streaming.Comment

Oh yeah. I may or may not make the drive, gotta be at the shop at 10am tomorrow to work on a customer car. The midrange is pretty lackluster now, although it's improving as the car adapts. I might rebuild the rest of the VANOS tomorrow and double-check my cam timing, if I have time. I am sure it's working fine, I'm just hoping that I can somehow magically come up with a little more midrange. Above 4500 it's pretty stupid but below that it's a little softer than I was hoping to achieve.
I had no traction in first gear above 4500 tonight. That pleases me greatly. Time to get rid of the stupid snow tires!Comment

I did my control arms and tie rods in November so I'm somewhat familiar. I'll prob do the subframe and RTABS another time. I have a homemade subframe bushing extractor, but if that doesn't work I'll burn or dremel them out.
I want to do my right front WB too. My brake issue driving me nuts.JOY IS AN E30...

very informative tire test, much more so than the "oh this works on an 1800lb ST-prepped Civic Si but not a car most folks have" test.Comment
