Hi guys, I'm trying to remove the shocks for service on my E30 M3 H&R coil overs, but I ran into a bit of a problem. All the strut's i've serviced before have a collar that you can remove and the strut slides out, but this shock is a much different design, and I don't see any locking mechanism. Before I mess something up, I was wondering if anybody has removed a shock like this before?

Eric: Flip the strut over, there should be a nut on the bottom that holds the strut cartridge inside the inverted housing.Comment

Beautiful weather today out at HPR. Not much wind. Improved my personal best in the M3 to a 2:00.3 lap. 1:59s were in it but I ran out of tire (Nitto NT01s) and fuel and decided to call it a day.
Oil pressure gauge needs a debug, but everything worked flawlessly otherwise. Awesome day! I can't wait to put some Hoosiers on and go 1:5x!Comment
