E36 M3s are track ready right out of the box. Sure, it won't stay as level as a car on coilovers, but it will do better than, for example, my E30 would.
This is true. I'm well aware my car's an outlier in terms of things it's needed, most haven't been abused or neglected by past owners as much as mine was. All that shit's fixed now though.

E36 parts are cheap, and much more plentiful too. ;)

I've driven a handful of em. They're alright, and yes I'd drive one if I could afford it instead of the e30... The e30 is a lot of fun and at the time it cost a fraction of what an M woulda cost

Now this here isn't a bad deal at all. also Bilstien coilovers. http://denver.craigslist.org/cto/2000566830.html

This could make a really nice DD, and some good money can be recovered by selling the coilovers.

Why must the Euro'd 735 that costs less then $1500 with 150k miles be an automatic?

E23 = electrical nightmare. Ask me how I know.

That E36 328i looks half decent.

Regarding the E30 vs E36 pissing contest....on an E30 board.....buy the best condition and quality car you can afford.

And the automatic can be cured, with a 5spd swap!
