I believe the boots come with a little clip piece that allows you to push it into the bottom of the shift knob. At least the one that was on my car did, ill be using it on the ebay boot when it comes in.

local guy used it in his M3

I got this from stock interiors.com and is just OK for fitment but the color is spot on. Can't argue with it for $190 shipped to my door.

Damn. He said the Fitment was ok. I guess it needs trimming. But color is all that matters, and he said it was spot on...
