No wonder the goddamn thing leaked. This is the heater valve, which bolts to the heater core itself. I feel so stupid that I didn't catch this last night...note to self, kids, don't work when tired/hungry, you overlook stupid, little shit like this!

Fuck M50 manifolds. Been fighting the top heater core hose for 30 minutes. Really don't want to take the manifold off at this point, it's fucking 95% done, just need to get the top hose to slide just an inch or so and cinch that bitch down. Ugh.

Finally get the bitch all back together, start it up and it's still leaking from where it was originally-- where the heater pipes bolt up to the core. The leak isn't nearly as prominent as it was originally, but it is still there.

Core is a known good used one out of Eric Deliver's M50 swap car, as are the pipes. I didn't buy new o-rings, as these were still (fairly) soft to the touch, as well as they not being in stock until last night (i needed the car done before then, and the parts house was closed today.)

I'm giving up at this point. Any suggestions, feel free to offer them up, but I'm done for the day.

At that point Austin I would replace the O-Rings and anywith that is questionable. Alot of times when you run into shit like this it's always the ONE thing that "looked good" or "PO said it was good". Just my opinion. I don't know shit though. :D
