anyone here ever dealt with Rolfs import auto service? I have a buyer flying up from California to buy my convertible, and he wants them to do a pre purchase inspection. I'm not usually one to let anyone touch my cars, so I'm a little nervous. just want to make sure these guys knows what the heck they're doing

Make sure you have an extra high/low lense before you start you're guaranteed to break at least one. I'll never do it again. Next time I'm just gonna buy new ones. It took me 3 days to do one side, I managed to get the other side done all in a day.

Nice, I did that too. Small things like that make a huge difference.

Just duplicolor undercoating or what?

Well the undercoating is under a couple layers of paint. At the factory they spray on the undercoating and textures, then the paint color (alpine im my case) then they mask and spray the black parts black. So I just:

Cleaned
Lightly Sanded
Wiped clean with microfiber
Automotive Primer
Trim paint (satin finish)

The final coat is your choice imo, you can do it gloss, semi gloss, matte, or satin, depending on how you want it. I wanted Semi gloss for a factory look but there wasnt any, so i settled for Satin trim paint.

I used 3m undercoating but the po had Sanded the original texture away

Sort of a satin it's textured so it's hard to tell , but it's definetly a nice deep black
