Glad to hear Criv made it out alright, but sucks beyond words. I wonder if there is a way for r3v to help a brother out, considering without him - this whole thing wouldn't exist.

Holy hell. Didn't hear about this! Unbelievable. I'm so sorry.
Chris is thinking about setting up a "go fund me" or something. For the immediate expenses (new cloths, food, etc.) But first wants to talk to him to see if that's what he wants.
Also, I hear Go fund me has pretty high fees for posting and collecting the money. Anyone know of a different place to do the same kind of thing?

Why not just create a FB page for the efforts and have people donate money through Paypal as a gift?

Oh man, that is crazy. Hope everyone is ok. I can't imagine going through that. In for helping The Godfather out.

The thought I was rolling around is just if people want to bring some gift cards to the BBQ we are doing in a few weeks at Blue Lake, we can throw those in a Priority USPS box and send it to where ever he his staying for now.
I'm sure he has a bunch to deal with right now, so setting a site or fund may not be high on his priority ATM. But if we just sent him something he can use right now, it'll probably go a long ways for him.
Maybe a couple Old Navy GC's or something (since you can use em at all their different brands..etc.) and maybe FM or other places. I'm assuming he lost everything (clothes, food, housewares..etc.)
