But I've actually been to the Spam festival on Oahu..

And yes, especially the Big Island if you go out side of Kona, you can often find an End cap of Spam at the little groceries.

I think thats just a meme at this point. I just got back from two weeks in Hawaii and not once did I see spam served anywhere. Poi, yes. Spam, no.

Most Mom and Pop Hawaiian big plate joints have Spam on the menu. You wont be seeing that at Island Lava Java or anywhere that is bringing a ton of tourism.

I grew up eating it, I still crack a can about once a week.
My dad takes a can with him gold panning down south, tosses it in his dash all day and by night it's supposedly cooked.
Personally I fry it up and toss some eggs on top. Good shit.
No one else in my house will touch it haha

When I was in Kona this summer I tried it for the first time, figured I had to experience it.

It was in a breakfast taco dish, pretty good with eggs except it was too salty for my taste.

Also LMAO at FireFight coming in with the nutritional info!
