ryan have you removed the head from your m42 ever if so is it hard to remove and put it back together im thinking about replacing the lifters

^^Yup, yanked my head. Toughest part was the exhaust manifold. The exhaust is apparently preloaded by the hangers to minimize movement- makes it rough to remove/install the exhaust manifold over the studs in the head by yourself with the exhaust system connected.
Did mine without pulling the cams though, which you'll of course have to do if you want to swap lifters. You're a capable guy, should be a breeze for you.

Parts! This time they're mine... all mine!
Front inner and outer CV Boot kits for both sides.
Front wheel bearings
New lock plates
New axle nuts. I'm so excited to get this shit done. Doing John's rear brakes and possible Joel's LED grille light install tomorrow. Stoked!
