Hey guys, anyone interested in this vert? Friend's car, $2200 obo. It's either 200k or 240k (or something in between). Low compression but it runs. Interior is beyond flawless, looks like it has projectors, fogs with frames intact. We only saw one little hole in the top (pictured), though there was some fraying. The inside of the top looks to be missing a layer (I imagine, not an expert in verts). Non-cracked dash, straight body.

Anyone interested? The dude wants to get rid of it.

So I messed up, well not really, I did what you guys do. Removed bolt and jacked it up, problem is that the stock spring still has tension on it, and the stupid new spring compressors that AutoZone and o reilleys carry don't work on E30 struts. Anyone have the old spring compressors? That tighten from bottom up? With the screw tightening going down?

Sucks, but that's the way it goes. I hope whoever buys it (not I as I don't play fucking bullshit bidding war games) will sell me a good amount of body panels from it! lol

Yes if you put it upside down the screw tightens up into the wheel well and can't tighten more, if you have it right side up you can't tighten the screw... Its dumb, they need the old spring compressors back.

... Yes, isn't that how a normal person goes about this? You have to decompress the spring to take the strut out...
