for using "my main" sounds like some comedy movie.
I hope you don't mind the word, because 1) I call everyone that 2) I don't give a damn if someone else calls me that 3) I am far from being white...ask Phil ;)
Colored?
Wow I cannot wait to meet this community in full force one day.
Pricing different places for th 5-speed swap is now giving me the debate to go Auto-tragic for the time being. Somehow Pricing is coming out to like $600-700 in parts, yet I see conversions for $400-500

reread what i posted. S50 swap with turbo. that can easily reach $10K after all the little parts, fab work and time, engine management and tuning time on a dyno, etc. it ads up quick.
ive built more then a few cars, i kinda have a clue what it costs to do so.
here is my last DD i built. it started as a 99 2.2 n/a automatic, was then built into a 240AWHP 2.0 turbo drivetrain swap from a 2003 WRX. i rewired the whole car with the WRX sedan harness. then went a little nuts on a spare block i had and ended up with around 450WHP.

to

Mr. Mullet you may have almost 50% convinced me to settle for an OBS.Your signature picture has been removed since it contained the Photobucket "upgrade your account" image.Comment

thanks, check the build thread i posted a page or two back for a LOT more pictures on that one build i did. ive done a few OBS's now and just love them for the sleeper status as well as how functional they are.
when i had the EJ205 "stage 2" making around 240awhp i could walk on my buddies 02 WRX making 296AWHP because the older chassis's (GC/GM/GF, coupe, sedan, wagon) are roughly 400lbs lighter then the newer GD chassis
ahh hell, here are a few more pictures. i REALLY miss this car.

and a video of me running a buddy's car, gave him about a 1 car head start.

Awesome! I guess my only gripe with the OBS is I don't like the two tone. I could get just a regular imprezza but then I wouldn't get the hood scoop and vents. I guess once I finish my 90' sedan then I will see who has what to trade.Your signature picture has been removed since it contained the Photobucket "upgrade your account" image.Comment
