With hindsight* being 20/20 what would you do differently knowing what you know now with your current carrier path?

My degree was very interdisciplinary and I focused a lot more on understanding how people use technology (and vice versa) but my forte really is development. I spent over a year as Design Lead at a startup and while the design stuff is great to know, I shouldn't have pursued it for so long as my #1 priority.

In college I also got 65% of the way through a degree in French and 80% of the way through Communication (focus in Technology in Society) and while they wouldn't have added to my work that much, it would have been cool to close those out.

I probably would have started doing freelance stuff and teaching more as well. Last year I started teaching how to make a website from scratch at a UW outreach program and it's been extremely rewarding.
