S50 is down for a while. One of my injectors started leaking fuel, so I pulled the fuel rail off and noticed every single pintle cap except one was gone. Wasn't like that when I installed them. Guess that's what I get for buying a set of "rebuilt" S52 injectors, fuck non-OE pintle caps. Sigh...

oprinions on motor mounts for a 24v swap. car is a daily driver. looking at the green e28 mounts, I want to stay away from poly. Also I have some e21 mounts for the tranny. recommendations for the tranny brace? keeping my g260

Black late E28 535 mounts, stock E30 trans mounts (or E21.) It's what I use in my car, worked great for almost 100k miles.

I don't care what anyone says, poly is nice, but carries tons of vibrations. If it's a daily, go with rubber.

Poly motor mounts + rubber transmissions mounts doesn't vibrate too bad totally acceptable in a DD if you are under the age of 40. If you can afford AKG's get them, they mount through the correct hole and are a direct fit, no shims or guess work. E28 Mounts are installed into the "guide pin" hole but if you are on a budget go for the E28s, but id recommend you reinforce the subframe since the a prone to tearing.

Worth every penny, I have IE poly rear subframe and trailing arms bushings (uninstalled) but I am going to buy AKG instead. You get what you pay for

true, probably going to buy the motor mounts and the aluminum caps for the transmission mounts. I already have some e21 mounts so I think that will be a good combo.

Almost exactly what I used, minus I have E36 trans red poly with alum cups. You get a bit of vibration but not teeth shattering. Gives the car a more race car feel imo

My one complaint about all poly is that I never know when my phone is vibrating. Between the mounts and my lukebox I miss 100% of my calls and txt's

I am going stupid trying to get my CAB's on while the Control Arm is hanging down. Any suggestions? I'm using soap & water...

Never had any issues getting them on. Use a hammer if necessary.
