they make f20 tranny adapters. lots of people are putting k20/24 into s2000's because of the far superior torque. and they boost well :D

      K20A (159 lb·ft torque) @ 6100 rpm

30 years newer than M20 and still has less torque. Everything is built for a purpose and Honda's are all going hybrid for a reason.

Did you find the flywheel that you need for the 9000 clutch to work?

                Hold on a second.

                S2000 1st gen came with F20C 240hp and 153 torque. Current version F22C1:237hp 162 torque
2007+ JDM Honda Civic Type-R K20A 220hp and 159 ft lbs of torque.
So they swap out a motor to lose 20hp and gain 6 ft lbs of torque? Must be a honda thing

How about the 2.4 L? They seem to have less power also. Even the most current version of the K24Z7 only has 201 hp and 170ft lbs of torque..

it may have to do WHEN the peak torque kicks in, not necessarily HOW much they make. also area under the curve is very important and those Honda motors dont have much to being with so... just sayin

+1 Peak numbers rarely tell the whole story, especially for street driveability.

alot of honda guys utilize bigger blocks with high efficient heads (similar to the 2.7i head swaps) to gain pretty nice numbers.
