When looking at Harnesses outside of the car, are there any easy things to look for as far as differences between the 325E and 325I wire harnesses?
Looking at getting a 325i harness and just want to be sure i'm getting what i'm paying for. Really hard for me to trust someone who's not sure if it's for sure an iS harness. Ugh, hate these fine details. haha.
I think the o2 sensor is a 4 prong on IS and 3 or 2 prong on e. also e will have the connections for the bell housing crank position sensor crap.
Information below if from an E30 Tech search.
I'm assuming Early Motronic is what all Eta's got, and 1.1+ is what the 325i's got.

Just watched te video and my cars idle is in good shape now. Been hunting it down for a while and now that I had a chance to check it out, it seemed to be worn down a bit, but all is well
Thanks a lot for posting that up. Saves me some money and I can enjoy the car again
Damn this idle thing is kinda starting to piss me off! Ugh! Can't get it fixed no matter what I try! Also put new fuel filter in.. She doesn't bog down no more. Luckily. Still the idle is bad! Ugh!
One quick question tho. When I put her togather... For the timing belt I had it set on both crank n cam.. Althought it wouldn't go on:( so the crank I moved it back 1 or 2 teeth I forgot exactly to get the belt on.. Would the effect the idle?
