Anybody got the hookup on a good place for tire swapping? My Style 66s are getting new rubber this weekend and Discount Tire wants $50 to mount and balance two tires...

Karl Coleman can hook you up on cheap M&B but the gas to get there might be prohibitive for you.

toes, thats not too bad, its usually around $20/ wheel, and at least with them doing it you can take it back to them if something happens

If you're too cheap to go to a good reputable shop, then go to some shit hole used tire place they'll do it for next to nothing

The mount and balance machines aren't cheap to own or maintain, nor do you want untrained idiots doing this kind of work.

Do you have a Costco card?

Costco will not mount tires that you did not buy from them.

When you start getting into lower profile tires you want to have someone who knows what they're doing. The chances of marring a wheel or gouging the sidewall or taking chunks out of the bead are not good. Depending on the equipment used.

I find them to be pretty cheap (~$10k for a decent machine and balancer)

At only a set of 4 tires a day and the machine pays for itself in 4 months.

Fair enough, but I still wouldn't trust those used tire shops to spend the necessary money and time to have equipment and labor equivalent to a real tire shop.
