^hmmmm interesting, I don't have that on my pan, SUCKS!!!!!!

I did some searching and I now have a pretty good picture of how the harness works, the tip you gave about starting with Andrews harness was enlightening so thanks! I going to remove the unwanted plastic cover and rubber, and tape everything up to make it look neat. But right now it looks like this lol

^This is why our swap harnesses cost so much lol. ;)

edit: not saying Andrews is bad by any means. Extremely good value.

Lol yeah wires are not fun I was clueless until I plugged his up then the light bulb came on and everything made sense

The hard part is shoving it down under the brake booster I ripped out the rubber weather stripping on the fire wall and crammed everything through exposed holes

I'm not rich enough for your harness lol

If only I got the z3m harness woulda been so much easier, it and Andrews harness is the perfect match, his wires are long enough to run the Sport button/gas pedal and OBD2 port anywhere u desire.

Yup it was a PITA! but I got it done! Instead of pulling that rubber weather cover off I cut a plus shape in the rubber then shoved all wires in, it keeps the wires sealed up tight. There's still a few plugs from the e46 harness thats not used? 2 clear and 2 black connectors...I also cut out all the unnecessary rubber on the wiring harness and rapped it up with electrical tape, so I'm happy.

The search is over, finally found a 2002 booster...yay! Although it's not a great option but it's better then going boosterless.

This is the best option without having to modify the manifold, fits perfectly, no drilling no cutting no spacing nada, but u do have to modify the folk to fit the pedal.

Yeah, that looks annoying. I really think the Z3M harness is a better option for sure, but its hard to find one used and they are a bit pricey new

Nice that the 2002 booster fits! Must be tiny. I understand the lure of simplicity to retaining vacuum assist, but is it better? Or, just cheaper and easier than going with a well thought out balance bar manual setup (garagistic, massive, etc)?

Just a little more work, which there already is plenty of in the entire swap....sorry, this is just my brain splurging on here to help me decide on which route to take ;)

                        Keep it up!!

It's better than the booster delete with the stock master cylinder, it is not better than dual tilton/wilwood/whatever master cyls. I think that'll be what I work toward in the future, my current brake setup is still not confidence inspiring. The dual mc's is the way to go IMO

                            Right.

Massive's dual MC's mounted on the firewall setup:

I'm leaning toward garagistic bracket setup as of now..

Cheaper, yes Easier yes, I say this cause after just having the folk modified I'll be able to just bolt everything up including stock mc. Is it better then going boosterless, yes and no, if ur talking about the legit boosterless kits out there and combine it with a nice BBK setup would be perfect, but that's going to cost u a few pretty golden penny's compared to going with a booster setup.

Let us know what we can do to help. We now carry the wilwood pedals and master cylinders and can make a package deal with our bracket.
