They are high quality and I like the way they look. But there's limited choices for 4-lug offsets (8" wide and Et25 is never going to fit an ix), and they're not cheap. For the RWD cars, they're pretty ideal otherwise, assuming you have found a 17" tire you like that is close to a good size for the E30. Lots of room for a BBK, of course.

yeah I believe these will fit the bill. They are designed for an E30 (according to their website, plus they have a tire size recommendation on the site as well). Fitment Industries is where I'm going to order them through.

Great wheel, great value! But I’d only run 17 if you have to.

I Don't have to run 17's but I feel this opens up my tire choices plus if I ever run bigger brakes I'll have the clearance. I want 16's really but I haven't really found anything that I like 100% in that size. at least that isn't 2.5K and up that is.

Not 4 lug, but for the 5 lug guys that want a similar style I had forgestar build me a set of F14's in a square 17x9 +26 offset for my car and fit a 245/40 on the car square. Basically the same style of wheel for the 5 lug guys that don't want e36 fitment.

Brakes that fit into 17" are good for 300/400 at an E30 weight. Jongbloed wheels are similarly priced.

So I went a different route. I'm not sure if it was for better.
I bought a set of 16x8 et25 ESM 002r. I know they are reps. But I like their look and they are way cheaper than actual BBS. My dream 2 options for wheels would be a set of Works and to have my bottle caps re-barreled.

Glad you found something you like. I love ARC8s but not 17s on E30s, E30 brakes look goofy enough in my 16s and upgrading the brakes is of zero benefit to the vast majority of E30 owners.

I do plan on upgrading the brakes eventually. And the 16's are (imo) the perfect size to run. Plus the wheels that I chose don't really show off the brakes anyway.
