The first one is called "doesn't exist in real life" and the chromed out V8 is just one of chrysler's "new hemi" engines with some fancy chrome bits that make it look older.

i do not speak italian, but just skimming the wiki article, i looks like in '86 it ran in group c. says the chassis was run from '83 to 2001' i would guess the m12 would have only been used on the earlier end of this spectrum.
