I tack welded a bolt to my transmission tunnel to hold up the trans brace to tide me over until I welded in some new sheet metal.... not proud of this one, but it's been almost two years....1988 Atlantisblau Euro/Japanese 325i Cabriolet

JB-weld on the front across the lower part of the oil pan and never leaked for 4 years. I know everyone on here has done that at one time or another.Your signature picture has been removed since it contained the Photobucket "upgrade your account" image.

I have jB welded oil pans before. Also jB welded a pinhole in an intake on a early 2000s ford expedition. Worked for like 7 years till the trucks trans failed.

I remembered another one. lol. My E30 is a pile :p
When I did my 5 speed swap, the brake light switch didn't quite reach the pedal far enough to activate it. So I used a washer and some electrical tape to make a spacer that activates the switch. It's been that way since 2006.. I guess I meant to make it more permanent, but it's worked for so long I sort of forgot about it until now.
