That was a pretty nice car, I look at it like when the first E30M3s,,, started popping over that same mark...

Man, iX values have dropped over this past year. It's a shame (yes, I am very, very biased).

I also put it in mid to high teens, surprised to see it go for so much. It was a very nice car though so I won’t nit pick. S52 swapped e30s are great cars

Given that BAT tends to get the best of the best cars, for those average joes not looking for the perfect car, but a decent car, a 325i/318is should be pretty easily attainable if you have about 10K to play with. Prices seem to be even lower for the early model cars. That's what I'm currently doing - saving up, and hoping to have about 12K to spend. While the top end has gone up significantly, I think the average car price changes should be flatter. (I hope!)

Are you going to pull the trigger on the alpine vert? I wonder if you will get paid for the M3. I feel eBay has a high tendency of buyers disappearing once payment comes around.

Who knows, it's a guy from Switzerland that says he's excited but yet he's asking me do I know how to ship a car overseas, I told him I will help any way I can but basically pay me. It's all a gamble. The vert is a little bit rough, left fenders been painted poorly oil leaks no maintenance, I offered him 8 K, he wants 11

But then you'll be one of those guys who regrets selling his E30.

If you have multiple E30s, especially if one is a 318iS that you bought for $500 a few years ago, then yea I would consider it. Otherwise just enjoy the car and the pride in knowing that you bought them before they were cool
