Um... et0 on an ix with 15x10s... you are smoking crack. 15x7 et24 barely fit with 205s... Chris usually runs hoosiers and these are his street tires.

People like to have positive offset on e30's because that's the way it's designed. Go ahead and get an ix and put 0 offset wheels on it -- and you're talking about running 245's on a 0 offset wheel. 8.5 in. wide et0 will not fit. It's a daily, and all of the aftermarket flares are ugly as shit.
Here is my friend's ix on stock 4x4 suspension with et25. He has rubbing issues with four people in the car (though he may have bad shocks). If that car was lowered at all, the fenders would rest on the tires.

its because of his offsets. I though about the swaybars for streetabiltiy. ive also though about coilovers. Seems like the right way. I though about only a rear bar because i have a push im trying to get rid of. its worse at lower speeds i think. I have my konis for the street set at full soft front and one turn to hard in the back. Whats the diffrence betweent he different coloured springs? I got the 2 colours, blue and black. i know the red is race.Comment

huh?Go for the generic spec E30 suspension (HR race springs, bilstein sports) but go with the IE 21mm/25mm sways. One day you will have to make the choice between track performance and streetability, you cant have both.
Also, those rims/tires are killing you. You can pump up the pressure all you want on those tires, the sidewalls are way too tall. I havent found the best combo but Id say 45-50 side walls are good. Go get some 15x10s with 0 offsets. Itll give you a more aggressive stance for grip and will stabilize you in corners.
I refuse to help you with the oversteer "problem" though.
I'm not sure if you're talking to me, but none of that stuff would fit on my car anyway. also, I have dedicated track wheels - but this is just the "slush" season, meaning it's raining most of the time, and it's not worth bringing slicks and all my gear - so I just run on my regular street tires. currently they're only 15x7, et24, 205/55-15 - and they barely fit under the rear fenders (trimmed and "massaged" lips). so no way I'm running 15x10, 0 offsets on here :pComment

about the widest you can run is an 8" wheel on an ix (assuming proper sized tires), and your offsets have to be perfect. there's potential to run a 9", but you'd need a higher offset on the rear wheels, which would look goofy as the ix already has a much wider front track. although I guess I could do 9-10" with some super eur0 stretch tires, but that's not what my car is for...Comment

a rear swaybar is just hiding the real problem - lack of negative camber. of course if all you do is drive to work, you don't neccesarily want to change that, but negative camber on the front transforms the car.its because of his offsets. also, changing the stiffness of your konis isn't going to really change the balance of the car - that affects weight transfer (slaloms mostly), because you're adjusting rebound, not compression. my fronts are set at full stiff up front in the summer, and about half in the winter - rears are 2/3rd, but I never change those.Comment

I run 15x8 with a 0 offset with just some fender rolling. It isnt impossible. The goal if the offset is to give you the wider stance to help the sways do their job.huh?

I don't think you get it - the 325ix is waaaay different. and you don't think I've rolled my fenders? I fucking trimmed the flares with a dremel and used a sledgehammer to flatten the fender lips (they were fucked from getting pulled by the tires already). a baseball bat wasn't going to do shit. and they STILL rub, but not on the lips - inside the fucking fenders! tell me how to roll that :oIts a combo of alot of things. I'd have to run like 205/40 tires to run a 15x8 et0. but that's ok, I'm pretty sure my 225/50 hoosiers are more than adequate, thanks. especially since they clear the front struts and rear fenders by only a couple MM... :pComment

Also.. its not 55mm sidewall it is an aspect ratio... 205/55 the 55 is 55% of the width not 55mm.. So it is 205*.55 which is 112.75mm... Also running an extremely low offset is really hard on your wheel bearings.:: PNW Crew ::

Not many people agree with me about the offset. Ive also mentioned 10 inches wide is probably not ideal. Of course 0 offset puts more strain on your wheel bearings. Wider stances + more contact patch = more grip. Its not nonsense.
