Damn so many haters. I hope all goes well with the auto. I hated mine when I had it but I still have much respect for it. A 4.10 w/ a getrag260 is too much especially boosted, but with the auto it should be pretty nice.

Swapped in my 30lb fuel injectors. Switching fuel injectors is much easier the second time, it only took me 20minutes this time. I also had a silicone plug that I used to block the port on the TB from the valve cover hose. The valve cover hose was extremely brittle and broke into a couple pieces when I removed it.

I know it's not finished but just to be sure, wrapp the spark plug wires. Also, didn't read the whole deal wiht he 4.10 or 4.26 diff ratio you wanted to use? But anyhow...keep the 3.73 at least...not any shorter.:)

I'm buying those little heat boots for the wires.

and there seems to be a LOT of misinformation and people just guessing what diff is in my car. I'm not swapping diffs at all.

My car is an autotragic and they come from the factory with a 4.10 differential. the automatic with a 4.10 diff gears are much longer than a 5 speed with a 3.73 its probably close to a 2.93 on the 5 speed. With my 4.27 my gears a still longer than a 5 speed with a 3.73. Please understand this people of r3v. My gears are long compared to any 5 speed E30 on the forum running a 3.25 and up.

Can't wait to see how this goes. Good stuff in this thread for those of us with autos.

I guess I'm old school, but the air filter placement... nice work otherwise.

                    what air filter placement?

I'm interested to see how this build turns out. I'm intrigued.

Seem to have run into an issue, I don't have to much room to run a draw through MAF, what would I need to change in the tune to run my MAF blow through style?I know the Miller base tune is for draw through.

I've got just about everything ordered up. My total cost is now at $1625. Still need an AFR gauge and air filer.

+1! I paid $75 NIB for the LC-1 without the gauge. Though if I were boosted I would probably want the gauge, but for now a laptop is good enough.
