To add, on the street cars we had to increase the resolution at low TPS settings. Really thinking about doing dual maps in the future. Something like map1 0-10% throttle, map 2 10-100%. Local kid came by the other day with his m42 turbo. I was impressed with how smooth the car was having dual maps for increased resolution. He has 0-100kpa in map 1, 100-200kpa in another. Wasn't until I was adjusting some drive-ability issues on the Extrudabody car that I realized how nice the dual maps would be for ITB's in a DD.

I had thought about you too when he showed me. I remembered you are tuning with the vacuum block and MAP, so I know you must be tuning in the only in 80-100kpa range, which does make for very loose resolution.

I tried the ITB mode which blends but it wouldnt even drive so I couldnt continue on it. alpha N was getting better and better and then this issue happened.

It can go from Cadillac soft to coil over stiff with one button, literally rides stiffer than my E30 does when switched to advanced.
sadly here it is currently lol... all new PCV system, new IPD charge pipes, turbo inlet etc. getting motor to 100%. already installed 3" catless downpipe. still needs new angle gear collar as well

so this is taking forever to tune, runs terrible below 50% throttle still adding resolution to the map, hopefully it gets better as I tune it. Need to make this weekends auto-x. sometimes I noticed when I get on the gas from a stop it will go full lean and stall out but thats random and is hard to replicate.
some video coming as well.

Intake popping can also be caused by incorrect timing, but if you are running the same timing as before and it wasn't an issue then it's likely not the timing.
