I wonder if anything would change considering the collectors are different.
Could you update if there is any at all?

I'm guessing powerband will shift due to the MUCH longer equal length manifold, but I really wont be able to tell what the manifold caused because i'm also going to be running a cam that will further change the power band at the same time.

Would you be interested in selling your current manifold? I just bought my megasquirt to start my turbo project on my '90iX

Did you buy something from me? Please leave feedback!

sorry to hear about the engine man. I never broke a rocker but the timing belt broke on the '89iX around 170k. That was before we knew what this car really was and what it needed. What would you want for the manifold and wastegate? I'm also a Mr eBay and I have been looking at the CXracing manifold with turbo and downpipe kit.

What if you connect both individual banks into 1 wastegate provisional?
Maybe enough to avoid creep? Or is it kind of a moot point since it still has to go through 1 wastegate port anyways.

connecting both would work, but probably not any better than just popping the provision right in the middle. Both pipe ARE merged in the few inches below the turbo flange so I dont think creep will be an issue as long as the wastegate tube is angled to flow correctly.

also I am fine with minor creep towards redline because i was going for a flat torque now anyway. I'm think 15psi and raising to around 17-18 by redline.

The rebuild will move the focus of my car from just trying to get a high WHP number to trying to get an amazing power band that last more than 1k rpms.

I'm planning on revving to at least 7200rpm with the new cam.

                    That sounds like a plan.

With my setup, have a absolutely flat band that pulls all the way to red line.

is there anything wrong with leaving the accessory pulley off of the lower crank pulley? I dont have A/C and I'm removing power steering. any reason not to leave it off?

Less weight faster revving? Why not?

stock, just missing subframe so sitting at weird angle.

The only important parts are the 60-2 wheel & harmonic damper - everything else can go (well, i suppose the water pump / alternator drive pulley matters a little bit).

What about stock "balance" of the motor, that's what im curious about.
