sweet! Those flares are killer. I've been considering them for a while. Just hesitant to shell out the dough for adequate wheels and tires to fill them out.

I prefer to use green cups. Afterward, I pretend I'm a ninja turtle and the cup is a cylinder of ooze.

ive had fender flares in my plans a while ago and after seeing them painted to match i must say fuuuck yes! the flares look pretty bawse with a wider than 8in wheel. and its necessary.

only concern is if i blow a tire mid drift. I hear they rip the rear flares up bad when they blow
m20 is plenty. im simply a drifter.

did you remove the 3 flex plate to torque converter bolts on the engine side of the TC?

                ^ do that.

Also, are you running a short shift lever?

SO i got the 5 speed and everything seems smooth but I'm missing the shift carrier bearing so I have to wait for that. should be here Wednesday. I also got a different shifter and linkage installed and it seems much smoother. cant wait to drive it.

Also I broke the clutch return spring on the clutch pedal box but the pedal returns fine without it so its not really needed right?

Im not using that spring. Many others I talked to aren't either and don't have an issue. I still have to bleed my clutch before I drive it though so I haven't personally experienced it yet (this coming Saturday it will be finished).

I just noticed last night while replacing my clutch master that my return spring was broken. Not sure how long it has been like that, but I haven't noticed a difference

cool, everything went really smooth, so the car should be driving by Wednesday just waiting on my last order from pelican parts to show up. Just waiting for the shift carrier bearing then I will throw the drive shaft on and be good to go.

I've done 2 cars now with no spring and they drove perfectly.

Are the wires connected to the reverse switch on the side of the tranny? Have you tried swapping the switch for a known working one?

+1 switch could be bad, where'd you get the tranny from?
