So the only thing i did today was removed the front bumper and all the junk with it just to see what i was going to be dealing with..
the valance is jacked up near the lip..
so i might be replacing the whole valance or building one from scratch..
my plan is to cut off the bumper shock mounts area and boxing them off, since they protrude past the valance.
Depending on/if i build a valance from scratch, it will have built in or added canards on the sides to provide flow over the front tires and some downforce..
I am on the fence about a splitter at the moment..

Here is a nice ms paint mock up i did in about 15 min haha
but it gives you guys a general idea of how the front will look when its done..
I am going to make the front spoiler out of ABS Plastic.. it is very light, flexible (in case of off track), and durable and can be easily manipulated.
Then go with some NACA 3" offset brake ducts.
And build my canards out of the same ABS plastic reinforced with aluminum.Last edited by ncrmtrsprtsE30; 06-07-2015, 02:14 PM.

update 7/14/15
RACE CAR UPDATE!
built some sideskirts out of ABS and chopped fender. (they match up perfect with the race wheels, but it looks weird with the rollers)
and I also received my M3 evo bumper with 3" brake ducts from DTMfiberwerkz.. (I know people have had issues with them in the past, but they were very prompted to answer my questions and actually came through with there build time and shipping. The quality is good, there are some thin spots in the fiberglass, and it has some unevenness, and its up to you to mount it (no mounting locations what-so-ever but overall the fitment is good)
test fitment and getting everything mounted up.
and painted!
I have to wait for the paint to cure then I will update with some mounted pics!
