Plus it was over $800 for the slider.
Got ya, yea when they are manual in a crew cab its kinda a pain.

Out for a drive when my throttle cable got stuck at first, revving the nuts off the engine, then pulled over, tugged on it and it snapped.

      Balls.

Fortunately I never wear flip flops when driving old cars, in case I need to walk home and used a shoe lace to control the throttle and limped it home.

I'm not a truck guy, but my old man said that having a rear slider was one of the best ways to get your truck broken into.

It wasn't too bad, years of riding motorcycles have given me a feel for hand controls. From a stop I'd get the engine to about 2k rpm and slowly let off the clutch, the rest was pretty easy. I was able to shift gears and everything.

While I was in Tennessee in May, one of my good friends took some excellent photos of my car.

I want to get that same steering wheel. Did you have to use the spacer thing or did yours not come with a airbag steering wheel?

Which hub are ya using for the steering wheel?

My car was a non-airbag car.

I would, it looks perfect and the small diameter + 2.7 L/L rack made it so tossable on the twisties.

Only thing I wish was that the steering wheel was thicker.
